Soy & honey glazed sausages

Pre-heat the oven to 190 degrees or gas mark 5. Pop the sausages and onions onto an oven tray. Mix the soy sauce with the honey and thyme and pour over the sausages. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, making sure to turn the sausages every so often in the sticky glaze. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes just until soft, then drain into a colander. Mash with the butter and a little salt and pepper. Serve alongside the sticky glazed sausages and onions. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.

  • > 500 g maris piper potatoes, roughly chopped
  • > 50 g butter
  • > 6 sausages of your choice
  • > 2 tbsp. Kikkoman soy sauce
  • > 1 tbsp. honey
  • > 1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
  • > 1 red onion, cut into 6 wedges
