Ramen Soup

Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Chop the chilli. Sweat the onions in the oil for 5 minutes. Add the garlic, chilli and five-spice powder and fry for 1 minute. Add the Kikkoman Soy Sauce and rice wine, pour in the chicken stock and boil for 10 minutes. Meanwhile cut the pork into fine strips and cook the ramen noodles according to the instructions on the packet. Add the meat, noodles and spinach to the stock. Bring to the boil. Cut the spring onions into fine rings. Sprinkle over the soup before serving.

Tip:
If you cannot find ramen noodles, use other noodles.

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  • > 1 onion
  • > 2 cloves of garlic
  • > 1 chilli
  • > 2 tbsp. sun flower oil
  • > 1 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder
  • > 5-6 tbsp. Kikkoman soy sauce
  • > 4 tbsp. rice wine or sake
  • > 800 ml chicken stock
  • > 200 g escalope of pork
  • > 250 g ramen noodles
  • > 200 g spinach leaves (frozen)
  • > 2 spring onions
